We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to conduct a PhD in Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) in Construction. The position is funded (stipend + for fees; the latter at the level of UK/EU fees).
The proposed PhD research will research and develop a Mixed Reality (MR) -based HRI interface enabling humans to work/operate safely and effectively with robots in construction sites.
Frédéric has recently joined a KTP project with Careys Ltd with the academic lead at Heriot-Watt University (Prof. Lynne Baillie and Dr Bilge Erdogan). His role will be to support the development of existing process maps across the organisation to support its effort to transform its data and information management.
We forgot to tell you that last month we welcomed Alex Braun from TU Munich in Germany. He visited us for a month and collaborated on Scan-vs-BIM efforts that integrate Deep Learning techniques to enhance performance and granularity of results.
Today, we welcome Alessandra Corneli from Universidad Politécnica delle Marche (UPDM) in Italy. She is visiting us for a bit more than a month and we look forward to work with on AI and AR.
